Casper's Scare School Wiki

Casper's Scare School: Classroom Capers is a video game based on the 2006 film Casper's Scare School: A School with Real Spirit, published by Red Wagon and developed by Nikitova Games For Nintendo DS in 2010.

Overview[]

The game takes place in Casper's time at the Scare School, and he must do well in all subjects (Science class, Gym Class and History Class) in order to graduate in the end, and at the same time help and do favors for his classmates and avoid being caught by the school staff and the vampire bully Thatch.

Gameplay[]

The gameplay consists entirely of minigames where the player (Casper) must collect items for the other students in the classroom, while avoiding being caught in the teachers' field of vision, and at the same time, performing as many tasks as possible in the classes to pass level.

As the game progresses, the number of classmates increases, and enemies will begin to appear, which consist of two gargoyles, who are walking in a route through the stages and the player must avoid getting in their direction, and also Thatch, who will chase the player while they are out of their seat.

New special items will also appear, which will serve to increase the player's time and delay enemies.

In the last phase of the game, Kibosh will be added to the stages and will be walking around the class, and as with the gargoyles, the player must avoid being seen by him while collecting items.

Trivia[]

  • It is the only 2D video game based on Casper's Scare School.
  • It is the Casper's Scare School game with the most appearances, having twenty-six characters from the film, although seven of them appear only in the dialogue screens (outside of the gameplay), which are Alder, Dash , Stretch, Stinky, Fatso, Aunt Spitzy and Jimmy Bradley.
  • Hedy Hopper refers to Quasi as "Quasimodo", which is in fact the full name of the character he is based on. This is the only time in the franchise that he is called that.
  • The name of one of the background characters from the movie and series, Frankie, is revealed in this game. This was later (perhaps coincidentally) brought into the TV series episode "The Last Dance" two years after the game's release.
    • The game also reveals in one of the dialogue boxes that Frankengymteacher is his father.
