Frankenleftovers is the fourth episode of Season One and the fourth overall episode of the series, that aired on October 6, 2009.
Synopsis[]
Casper makes a creature out of cafeteria leftovers, but the beast proves difficult to control.
Plot[]
Mr. Burns is teaching a science class about humans, but ends up getting angry after being corrected by Casper, who really knows about humans. Burns then decides to give Casper a homework assignment, which consists of bringing some inanimate matter to life and presenting it the next day. Casper then has the idea of using the leftover food from the cafeteria to assemble a franken creature, and Ra and Mantha decide to help him secretly, since he doesn't like to inflict rules.
While Ra catches a Soul Saver Beetle outside the school as part of her plan to help Casper. Mantha and Wolfie break into the Principal's Office to get a book containing information on the subject. Thatch and Dummy Girl find out about their help for Casper and plan to pull a prank on them. Casper falls asleep after trying his efforts to bring Frankenleftovers, the name given to his already assembled creature, to life, and Mantha, Ra and Wolfie take the opportunity to enter and try to live with the doll for Casper following the instructions in the book. The three are startled by the creature getting up, until they discover that this was just a trick of Thatch and Dummy Girl using a remote control, so they give up and all leave the room, but after they leave, their attempts eventually work, and the creature is finally alive.
The next day, Casper apologizes to Burns for correcting him and hands him an essay in place of the given homework. When class begins, the students and the teacher are surprised by Frankenleftovers, who break into the classroom and start chasing the students, but specifically Mantha and Thatch and ignoring Casper, who then tries to figure out the reason for this, and upon returning to the classroom, he finds the principals, who have been informed about his creature, and order him to find it and finish it off. After several attempts by Casper to talk to Frankenleftovers while he is chasing the students and causing havoc around the school, Ra decides to tell him the whole truth, and Casper finds out that Mantha and Thatch had the biggest involvement in the process of bringing his creature to life, and that is why Frankenleftovers is after them, thinking that they are his parents.
All the teachers and students end up rebelling against Frankenleftovers and go to the principal's office, where he has locked himself up, all armed with torches and pitchforks. Casper then shows up and tries to talk to his creature, and ends up making him calmer and making friends with him, and then he decides to send him to a place that he likes and is better accepted, and then he takes a trip on Cappy's ship to go live with Frankengymteacher's mother, who claimed that was used to be just like him as a child. After the ship sets sail, Frankenleftovers throws some gifts to the teachers and students; a radish to Alder, a strawberry to Wolfie, and a rotten tomato to Thatch and Flyboy. Casper and all the others then finally say goodbye to him, and Thurdigree Burns, this time happy for Casper for his attitude, gives him another homework assignment, which surprises and worries the others, especially after all that has happened, thus ending the episode.
