Mad-Dog McSneer is a famous historical figure in the Underworld who at some point turned out to be the nightwatcher of Scare School without being noticed. Only Casper, Ra and Mantha know about his real identity.
Appearance[]
McSneer is a light green ghost with red eyes and a skeleton body. In his work as a nightwatcher he wears only a large black hooded robe, but in his past photographs he wore a red cloak with a high collar. He is usually seen holding a green lamp.
Personality[]
McSneer currently comes across as a lazy, sedentary nightwatcher who spends most of his time sleeping during the day. As intimidating as he may seem, he is not as strict with the students as most of the other faculty members.
Even after becoming so old and retired after the years he was active as a terrifying and famous ghost, he is still quite smart, as seen in his eponymous episode when he states that he already knew that Casper and his friends were pretending that his powers were working.
He also kept his word to help Casper in his presentation to the school, and moreover, he managed to surprise and scare everyone after he finally used his terrifying form on stage after so long.
