Mickey and Monaco are two vain skeleton sisters who study at Scare School. They are always talking about fashion things, like make-up and clothing, and are considered the most unintelligent and annoying students at school.
They are also the only participants in the school's cheerleading squad.
In the film, they are recruited by Thatch to help watch over Casper, but later switch sides and betray Thatch in the end.
Personality[]
Mickey and Monaco are identical in terms of personality, both being quite enthusiastic and often seen speaking the same words at the same time. The two are quite superficial, spending most of their time talking and bragging about their appearance, even in the most serious of situations. They are probably the least intelligent students at the Scare School, and seem to adhere to the "dumb blonde" stereotype (even though Monaco isn't blonde), and almost always get low grades in most classes.
They are shown to be quite friendly with each other, always being seen hanging out and talking together, although they have a big falling out in "No Bones About", where they start fighting and arguing to win the prize for the student who gave the best scare, revealing their jealous and petty behavior.
They are quite easily manipulated, being easily convinced by Thatch to help him keep an eye on Casper for Alder and Dash, taking his side for the first half of the movie, but quickly switch to Casper's side when they are rescued by him after being attacked by Thatch in an attempt to show how cruel he is, and end up betraying him in the end, stunning him and preventing him from continuing with the principals' evil plan.
For the most part, they are friendly and peaceful with others, such as when they lend their pair of flats so Quasi can wear it with his ballerina outfit, or when they agree to go with Ra to the school dance. Despite this, they also get to be mean on occasions, and sometimes even become bullies like Thatch, starting fights and arguments with other students, because of their appearance or their clothes. The two's main bullying target was mainly Triclops, whom they were very fond of teasing up to a point when they were punished by her.
Due to their incredible lack of intelligence and spending most of their time talking and caring only about their makeup, hair or anything about their appearance, they tend to annoy many people around them, including even Casper. In addition, they are also quite incompetent and unhelpful, as they always fail when given any kind of task, no matter how simple it may seem.
The only times they actually made significant deeds was at the end of the movie where they stop Thatch from continuing with Alder and Dash's plan, and in their main episode, where Mickey learns a new skill to control her limbs. They are also shown not to care about others but themselves, as seen in "The Bellyache Mystery", where they are saddened to have lost their ballet shoes that were with Quasi when he was "swallowed" by the Sea Monster, not even caring about the possible loss of one of their classmates.
Appearance[]
Mickey and Monaco are two living skeletons with makeup and Mexican paintings present on their skulls and bones, as well as various fashion accessories.
Mickey has combed long blonde hair and purple eyes, and his makeup and paintwork consist mostly of pink and blue, and include thin pink lipstick and large blue paint with yellow arrow marks and pink flowers on his forehead. Her purse is orange in color and she is always seen wearing blue glasses turned up on her head. She also wears several bracelets with red, orange and blue colors on both of her arms and has a part of her feet painted blue.
Monaco has short, combed and tied-up pink hair and green eyes, and has makeup and makeup similar to her sister's, but with red contours around the eyes and more diverse colors, with red, green, yellow, blue, and purple, including a big yellow paint on her forehead with blue arrows and a feminine symbol in pink, in addition to a red lipstick and orange braces painted on her teeth. Her purse is red and her bracelets are blue, yellow, red and purple, and the painted part on her feet is a yellow color. She also has thin black eyebrows painted close to her forehead, and her glasses are a dark purple color.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Self-binding limbs: As they are skeletons, they are able to assemble and disassemble themselves, although they show difficulty in doing so, especially when the impact is greater.
Acquired Powers[]
- Disassembled limb control: skill acquired only by Mickey; in the episode "No Bones About", Mantha and Casper try to teach her this technique, but ends up getting nowhere because of her stupidity, however, she accidentally acquires the ability to control her dislocated limbs when she gets angry with Monaco, which was helpful in getting her lost leg back.
