Quasi is on strike!

Quasimodo, usually called Quasi, is a hunchbacked monster who studies at Scare School and constantly does obligatory duties and favors for the principals and teachers, such as cleaning the school, turning off the lights, and ringing the bell, which It's what he hates to do.

Personality

Quasi is generally nice and friendly, even though he still keeps the mischievous and rebellious traits of a Scare School student, like making fun of someone or breaking rules. Yet he rarely shows harshness to anyone, and is always calm and peaceful, although he is also not among the kindhearted students of the school who are usually targets for bullying, such as Triclops or Pumpkinhead.

Quasi, although proving to be a good choice of friendship, is not very trustworthy or loyal, as seen in "Bully for You", where he unintentionally lets slip to everyone in school about Casper's secret help group, although it ends up with a good result.

As for his job, Quasi in general seems to enjoy being a chore boy, and enjoys doing most of the activities he is given, with his favorite probably being mopping the floor, while the activity he most hates doing is ringing the school bell.

Although he is not so smart, he shows himself to be very experienced in his work, being practically a professional, knowing how each activity should be handled. He also seems somewhat obsessed with his job, to the point of creating a connection with his own mop.

In "The Bellyache Mystery" it is revealed that Quasi's biggest wish is to be a ballet dancer, which he keeps as a secret since it is totally against the purpose of Scare School and the nature of the creatures as well.

Appearance

Quasi has green skin, light brown eyes and short brown hair, as well as pointed ears, a pink nose, and eyes of different sizes with yellowish sclera. He wears tattered brown clothing and has a crooked hump on his back.

Powers and Abilities

• Great Strength: Quasi has shown to have an unusually strength, having the ability to pull the string of the School's bell easily; Casper wonders "how does he manage to do that?" after failing to ring the bell while replacing him at his job.
• Unable Smell: Quasi claims he can't smell anything, which was proven multiple times in "Ring My Bell". It is a very useful skill so that he is not stunned by a very strong smell and can clean the school with no problem, in addition it is possible that this is the reason he was chosen to be the chore boy.
• Great Dance Steps: Skill acquired in "The Bellyache Mystery". Quasi reveals the secret that his biggest dream is to be a ballet dancer. He was shown to be quite talented when demonstrating his dancing to the principals, before shooing them away after his pants ripped.

Trivia

• Quasi is a obvious reference to the main character in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and even shares the same name as him, which is "Quasimodo". Although he is always called only by the first half of his name, "Quasi", he has been referred to by his full name by Ms. Hedy in Casper's Scare School: Classroom Capers.
• He is one of the only background characters in the film who play a notable role, along with Flyboy, Pumpkinhead, Wolfie, Blodge, and Mosshead.
• He is never seen working in season 2, which implies that he has quit his charge as a chore boy.
