Thurdigree Burns is a dragon who works as a Science and Chemistry teacher at the Scare School. He is one of the strictest and most punitive teachers at the school, and has very little knowledge about human life, resulting in made-up and exaggerated facts in his classes about the fleshies, which are taken as truth by everyone except Casper.
Personality[]
Thurdigree Burns is a somewhat sadistic, demanding and merciless teacher. He constantly threatens and punishes students with detention, expulsion from class, or hard homework, such as writing over 100-line essays about his class, although at times, he can get so punitive and abusive to the point of just ordering them do several repetitions of a single sentence, which talk about his superiority to them. He also seems to suffer from a short temper, as he is always seen yelling and threatening students who interrupt his class or do something wrong, even unintentionally.
He proved to be very intelligent and competent in all kinds of science and chemistry subjects, giving very informative classes to his students. He also shows a great knowledge of magic, possessing various types of magical portions and having advanced knowledge about the functionality of each one, and usually teaches about them to his students, usually with practical classes, and is even proud to see them when they are interested in the world of science, which shows that he is also a great scientist. He also spends a good deal of his free time experimenting and trying new discoveries, though many of them end up failing and sometimes wreaking havoc, such as when he tried to create a clone of Kibosh, but ended up resulting in a kind and friendly version of him, who he ended up trapping it in a jar for several years.
However, he goes to his worst when he is teaching his students about the functionality of the human body, with all of his classes being absurdly exaggerated and meaningless, such as his claim that the sweat present in humans is actually called of "scare juice", or that humans generate energy through running and screaming, even though it is a fact that this actually causes them to lose energy; These statements may be considered correct from the point of view of other underworld creatures who understand nothing about humans, and may even have been adopted as a "fact" in the underworld. However, he gets nervous whenever he is corrected by Casper, who really understands humans, and ends up punishing him with detention or difficult homework.
In season 2, Burns began to have a much calmer and more peaceful demeanor towards his students, and even helps them when they are in trouble. He has shown this likeable personality even with Casper, who was one of his most despised students, however, this is probably due to the fact that Casper in season two changed his behavior and participated more in his classes, and he even gets to even admire him this time, both for his good performance in class and for receiving awards for best students at the end of every year; Despite this drastic change in his demeanor, he still doesn't hesitate to scold or punish his students when they mess up in his classes.
Appearance[]
Thurdigree Burns is a scaly pink dragon with small wings and an orange belly and chin. He has red eyes and wears round glasses along with a lab coat and black gloves. He has only three fingers on each hand and pulled eyelashes, as well as a row of white spines behind his head.
Powers and Abilities[]
As a dragon, Burns has the ability to fly and breathe fire, the latter of which is often feared by students. When he is angry or nervous, he breathes smoke through his nostrils.
